Our Crackle Mugs are hand formed with color layered within the clear glass. The 'crackle' comes from quickly plunging the molten glass into cold water, causing the outer layers to crack while the hot underlying glass remains intact, holding the mug together. The clear handle is formed and applied while glowing hot and quickly shaped before it can cool. No hot liquids. Hand wash. (7-8in ht)
