Waves of colored glass chips are layered over white glass background to produce unique works of art. Some are pressed into patterns, others are swirled then pulled to form feather patterns, others resemble tropical flowers in full bloom. A final splash of color is applied around the edge of the platter to contain it's vibrancy. Each platter rests upon a clear glass base. All are crafted by hand in the heat of the furnace, where heat and gravity are used to form the gently rolling shape. (16in dia.)
